Body shape

I love Blush blush at this moment, but I'm kind of dissapointed that every boy have the same body shape. In Crush Crush some girls at least were chubbier! I would like to see a little more differences of body shapes of guys, too. Anybody with the same thoughts? :(

There are definitely some differences. Garret and Nimh certainly don't have the same build, and Kelby seems lankier than the rest, however, I agree that variety is always nice and it could have been pushed a bit further. Anime in general, at least when it comes to this genre, tends to play it safe with body types where the love interests are concerned, so there's generally not much variance aside from height, unfortunately. I think Blush Blush actually did a better job than a lot of others in this regard.

Yeah, I see those differences and the fact that they exist at all is great, but I would love to see somebody without abs. Somebody chubbier maybe. Still, I really like BB characters the way they are c:

Yeah I was thinking about this too. There are also no black characters to my knowledge and the characters seem to be predominantly white.

Predominantly white, yes, but William is black. I wouldn't call Dmitri "white," either.

Like, we have Nimh with peachy-orange eyes, Volks with bright yellow eyes, Dmitri with purple eyes and Eli with pink and yellow gradient eyes + he has rainbow colored hair which is his natural haircolor
But a black man with green eyes is what you think is unrealistic about this game, even though its a normal thing in real life
Even if one of his parents or William himself doesn't have 100% black genes - just because green eyes doesnt really appear in black people otherwise - doesnt mean you get to say hes not black when he clearly is

Ok, I'll give you that odd colors do appear in the characters. I didn't actually know that Eli's hair color was canonically natural. And I wasn't criticizing that he isn't black. I was asking a legitimate question. Was he confirmed as being black? He has light enough skin, he could also be another race that has darker skin tones. Based on his looks alone, I would be more likely to think Mediterranean or South American, or Hispanic.

Well, William is very clearly a spoof on Will Smith who's black. It could just be artistic freedom for the purpose of being able to show more detail by having the skin tone a bit lighter.
