Can I move data from platform to platform?
I first found this game on Kongregate, and had been playing for a while. Then I discover the game is here! I would prefer to play this on Steam, but I also don't want to completely start over. Is there a way to transfer the progress I accumulated on Kongregate to the Steam version of the game?

I'm sorry, the answer is no.
We are unable to transfer any game data between hosting companies.

YES!!

On your old PC, go to the More screen and click "Save Game".Then go to your new computer and click "Load Game".

As stated above, there's no way to transfer a save file from one platform to another. Thus, playing on Nutaku stays on Nutaku, playing on Kongregate stays on Kongregate, and playing on Steam stays on Steam.

Will this be addressed in a later update? It would really boost the game's popularity if it IS addressed.

The problem is not due to lack of technical ability, but rather the terms that they have to operate under on all of these different platforms. So no, unfortunately it won't.

It's a money thing. Not on the Dev's end, but on each Platform's end. Here's an example:

- If you buy Sven/Cole here on Steam, then Steam gets a certain % of that purchase.
- This is also true for Kongregate/Nintendo Switch/Google Playstore/Apple app store (basically ALL platforms you can find this game on).
-Each platform WANTS that percentage from the DLC sales, and if data can be transferred freely between all platforms, then only 1 platform sees the money from the purchase, and the others basically LOSE out on "potential purchases".

So it boils down to the /Platforms/ being greedy for the % earned from sales, and thus not wanting to share data.
(Steam): I want your money!
(Nintendo Switch): No *I* want your money!!
(Google/Apple) No, we ALL want your money!!!!
