Or if i have really much luck, when i`m at the menu-screen. The background music plays and you can click for example on any of those menu options...it switched to the choosen one...and then GAME OVER.
You can`t do anything else as bail out with ALT-F4 to end this drama.
That`s what happened every time, when i start it in FULLSCREEN-MODE.
If i start it in WINDOW-MODE, it doesn`t start at all. -.-
PS:
My possible maximum resolution are 'only' 1024*768. It`s an old game, okay...but that`s the next not 'good' part.
I tried this on an actual pc, where it won`t worked at all.
Possibly doing more and what it should at this stage, only on a really much older machine...
Sorry to hear that. If the game fails to launch, can you please email customerservice@interplay.com with your system configuration (ideally a dxdiag log file)?
If the game crashes during video playback, what happens if you
- Open CONFIG.EXE
- Select the General tab
- Set "Select in-game Full Motion Video playback mode" to None?
Granted if you want to change the settings you need to go to the steam library and run the game from that and select settings.
