I actually had a mode like this in the very early beta's but had abandoned it due to the complexities of economies in games.
I did have plans to add duo's, but due to the lack of player base, i dont think that will happen any time soon.
I think if i did this extraction game mode, it would actually be a whole new game, and its actually exactly the sort of thing i have been thinking of working on next.
If you play "The Cycle: Frontier" playtest, you can sign up on the steam page, they do this really well. Its kind of Takov'ish, but waaaaaay more accessible.
In that game its not one large map, its got a few maps you can select, not massive maps but pretty big, would be easier to manage technically if i broke it down to smaller maps as well.
Being able to drop into a map, and loot for high end gear, and PvP, then extract back to a base, where you can upgrade it(like Vigor on console)with your loot/gear, or die trying, has really captured people’s attention, if you were able to take the base game you have, and make it a game like that, you would definitely get people’s attention, there are so many big name content creators looking for games like Tarkov, it would be a game people would want to play, and if it was done right, you could really do something unique, just like fight or flight, I love the game, but I would definitely like to be able to play against other players. I’m here to encourage you, I love your game, and I hope you decide to make a game like that, it would be successful. Thanks for responding.
