Post-Game Quests Issue
Hi Guys,

I’m currently in the middle of getting the achievements for Scarlet Nexus. I’m on the achievement Heroic OSF where it requires me to complete 30 quests. I have beaten both stories and am on phase 12 using clear data. I’m really struggling to find enemies that I need to defeat as they are not in the places the wiki says they should be. Also pretty much every video guide I’ve looked at has people doing previous phases through the story with monsters appearing for them but not for me.

Has anyone got the achievements for this game and has anyone attempted the challenges after the stories like me?

I’m starting to think I’ve locked myself out of completion 😢

did you 'embark' the quest you're trying to complete on menu? theres a button on quest menu to activate (embark) them, also some descriptions to finish some quests are COMPLETELY wrong, one I remember is to beat some enemies on construction site smth like kill enemies w/ brain crush at same time that its not what you're supposed to do. But I pretty sure you cant lock yourself out of quests
I got 'platinum' on apr 22th and got this achievement on apr 14th so I probably did quests on post game for this achievement

Wait so the enemies don’t spawn unless the quest is set to active?! Is that what I’ve been doing wrong? 😦

I tried making the quest active to no avail :( I tried doing "Surprise Test Cont." to defeat two Wither Sabbat's with Brain Crush. Two sources online told me to go to the Mizuhagwa Construction Site to find them, even the exact area they should spawn and nothing. Completely different enemies spawn there. Starting to get really tired of this now :/

Have you tried going to the top level of kikuchiba and using Luka's ability to explore around to the left of the final elevator? There should be a hidden area with like 5 wither sabbats all grouped up. I'm at the end of phase 11 and I think they have been there since the last act.

I had the same problem as you, there's a quest later to defeat withers with brain field and they only show up at mizugahawa relatively early-game and are later replaced with either pendus or augur sabbats.

As far as I know all enemies can be found somewhere in the world, but they get rearranged depending on where you are in the story to maintain variety and scaling. The wiki tends to be more or less reliable but as you know still requires a grain of salt. I don't think you can lock yourself out of a certain enemy, although the simulator might be required for some specific cases or boss materials.

Also, I don't believe making a quest active has any effect on what spawns where; that's just hard-coded into the game based on main story progress. Activating a quest seems to just make your companions call out the enemy you are hunting when you enter a combat with one, and alert you if you killed it with the correct ability.

Thanks very much! I’ll definitely have to hunt around then. It’s frustrating to not be able to look up where they spawn at phase 12, or at least not anywhere I’ve found with the information. Thank goodness it’s only 30 out of the 60 or so that need to be done. I feel awful for anyone trying to do them all D;
