Photo Mode doesn't actually work, shows an error for me
So I just bought the game, and am trying to use the Photo Mode. But it shows an error saying not enough space to take screenshot.

Has anyone encountered this? No clue what's happening tbh, I have more than enough space. It also has an option to "Open Folder" that doesn't seem to do anything.

Yeah got the same thing. My laptop is low on storage, but not literally empty. This is definitely a bug.

Maybe the game does not have permission to write to the directory?
It is supposed to save photo mode screenshots in my documents/pictures/scarlet nexus.

Reporting back. Not sure why or how, but the issue is fixed for me now. Thoughts: Perhaps it requires a save file; I first tried to use Photo Mode upon my first play and got errors. Came back later and tried again after the tutorial and it seems to work. The first save is made after the tutorial. Confirmed by alt-F4ing before I got into the game proper, and then had to redo the tutorial.

Can you confirm where exactly it is saved? I don't actually have a my documents/pictures/scarlet nexus folder, probably because of stupid onedrive integration on my machine.

This also happens if you have Windows Defender's Ransomware protection turned on. If that's the case, then you need to look in the settings for it at the recently blocked apps.

Just use F12 or (central button + RT/R2) to take a screenshot.

Sorry for the delay replying. Mine are stored in 'This PC/Pictures/Scarlet Nexus', NOT 'Documents/Pictures'. On Windows 10 if that makes a difference.
