Base game + Season Pass vs Ultimate?

Buying Base game + Season pass is cheaper than ultimate, I'm assuming the only things missing are cosmetic if not buying the Ultimate?

They're the same thing, just different price cuts. You save 0.01€ by buying standard + ultimate upgrade vs just buying ultimate edition at default price.

It's much cheaper than that. I'm talking about base + season pass vs outright purchasing the Ultimate (not the upgrade).

base + season pass is not the same as ultimate
deluxe + season pass is the same as ultimate

I know reading is hard so let me put it like this:
Base + Ultimate Upgrade = Ultimate Edition = Deluxe Edition + Season Pass.
Base + Season Pass = you miss out on Deluxe DLC found in Deluxe or Ultimate Edition which is the Brain Punk Bundle.

That would be the ideal option unless you care about the fluff/fanservice content. I bought Deluxe Edition on humble bundle which at the time cost less than base did on Steam. For those not in the know, you save ~10 bucks by not going the DX/Ultimate route with the above combo during this ongoing sale.

Thanks for the great thread, just to clarify, as BamCo's description are a bit vague, what I would be missing out for it seems the Brain Punk bundle just has Art Book, Soundtrack and a change of costume and the Pre-Order Bundle has just additional cosmetics, so if I want just the game and all playable content it looks like Base Game + Season Pass, as this will save me ~15,00 €. Funnily enough it seems

Base Game 19,99 € + Ultimate Upgrade 19,99 € is cheaper than flat out buying the Ultimate Edition which retails for 44,49 € in my region, so I would throw away 4,51 €...

Really bizarre choice to make the Ultimate version not 60% off too. I don't know if that would end up cheaper or the same, or more expensive, but I probably wouldn't have even bothered to check the pricing difference if not for the fact the discount was different for that one.

It's still not clear to me, but looks like there are additional side stories in the 2 Bond Enhancement packs that you'd be missing. So *some* playable content it seems. I'm basing this off of the reply marked as answered. It was stated that if you have deluxe, to get the season pass if you want to upgrade to ultimate. Which leads me to believe that the only difference between Deluxe and Ultimate is the season pass. Which includes the 2 bond enhancement DLC. If I have this wrong please let me know...

But those are in the Seaon Pass, aren't they, which are in the Ultimate Upgrade?

I assume BamCo made it so confusing on purpose...
