Bond Episode Menu Bug?

It seems as though there is some kind of a bug/error/whatever that prevents me from finishing bond episodes and unlocking the next tier for any given character.

I can watch through the bond episode just fine, but at the end, when there's a level up with a character and I can see what new benefit I get with them, the instated keybinds do not respond like they should. Left-clicking, hitting the enter key, trying the backspace - none of it works, and I'm stuck at this screen.
It forces me to hard reset the game, but then I'm not able to save my current progress so none of my bond episodes register as complete and I don't have a higher reputation with any of the characters.

Has anyone else had this issue? Am I just missing an update?

yeah, ive had this exact same problem, theres nothing i can do about it

It happened once to me, so far. But I've seen many of them, so I can't say how to "fix" it. It didn't happen after a bond episode btw, but after affection level up (from a gift).

You have to go through the bond episodes in order to rank up your affection level, and whenever you rank that up, you get the menu with the fun benefits of getting closer with that character. I can't exit out of that menu, so I just lumped it in with "stuck at bond episodes" because you need em to level up bonds with characters.

Also, uninstalling and reinstalling the game does not work. Just FYI for those stumbling across this post.

Maybe try a controller of anykind and simply click a button on it to advance?
Maybe they just forgot to map it on the KB for some countries variations. Wouldn't surprise me.

Happened to me once. I alt+f4 and set all keybinds to default and then it works normally.
After that you can rebind them again. Hope this can help.
