Psychokinesis Finish - unreasonably unrealiable...
Description: "Use RT on knocked down enemy to perform Psychokinesis attack slam"

So, IF!.. IF enemy is knocked down on the ground, THEORETICALLY... I WOULD ASSUME, (especially considering how far down down the combat tree this skill is) it must take priority regardless of any other skill.
Instead, this move works like once in a blue moon, because for some reason game thinks that throwing objects with TK normally at a downed enemy takes priority.

Whoever play-tested Psychokinesis Finish and whoever came up with mission "Totally Lost" - you did a piss poor job!!!

But hey! Maybe it's me being dumb and I'm misunderstanding something!
So If somebody knows how to perform Psychokinesis Finish with at least 6 out of 10 times reliability - please, do enlighten me.

OK, so to sum it all up, in order to pull off reliably Psychokinesis Finish:
- "Crush state" ≠ "Knockdown"
- "Knockdown state" it's either armor break, psychokinesis countering enemy, countering enemy with certain SAS abilities active (Tsugumi's Clairvoyance seems to work well) or hitting exposed weakpoint enough times.
- Performing an attack can lock you in the Psychokinesis follow-up attack.
- Unless you are standing close enough - you will perform normal Psychokinesis attack.

That is exactly the kind of mechanics that pull combat system down.

I wonder, though: if "Crush state" and "Knockdown" happen at the same time - which one takes priority?..

Downed are basically "stunned" enemies. If they don't get up/move for more than a second or two then that's when you can use it. Also do not perform any attacks otherwise you'll do a followup psychokinetic attack.

Psychokinesis finish does not happen when an enemy is just on the ground. If you're depleting their brain crush gauge then using psychokinesis you're not doing psychokinesis finish.

It happens when an enemy faulters/falls normally, due to having armour broken or being hit by certain moves. For the mission totally lost, when the Missin Pound is close to death, hit it with intercept. Intercept guarantees a knockdown which will guarantee psychokinesis finish.

Knock down looks the same as when they just fall over but it's a different state.

took me over 2 dozen tries and it was very annoying, idk if kasane has similar quests but for yuito if this is the missing pound quest which before you do this I will advise that he has two quests that need to do this, I would break its crush gauge once, get its hp to 1/5 while it is on the floor, when its gauge refills and it gets up it should do an animation where it shakes and smoke comes out of its body, wait for this animation to finish, jump up and hit it twice with your square/x (sony/microsoft controller) attack, it should just take 2 hits for it to fall down than after it is on the floor use your psychokinesis.

this should not only get its hp down to 0, but break its gauge, idk what happens if you hit them again, but once their gauge is broken they will die in a few seconds if you just leave them on the floor and it will count for the quest if you just leave them there.

It doesn't help that you have to be NEXT to the downed other in order to to do it.

It's such a stupid quest to deal with an enemy that breaks just by sneezing its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ direction, such a garbage quest.
