Anyone else feel like vase paws analysis's drop is waaay too low?

I've been picking up a lot of the other analysis's pretty frequently and other s-tier loot but the vase paws are the ones I've been struggling to get to drop. I'm brain crushing them and everything too. Instead I'm just getting Ecology and battle record S's... I've been at this for a few hours now this is ridiculous...

But in all seriousness, the fact many characters need this item to get past level 5 considering how low the drop rate is is just dumb

It's needed for plugin slots but you don't really need it to for leveling bonds.

You probably hit the threshold at the right time for them to level up. There's like a hidden counter for leveling bonds with first time gifts having a large impact while subsequent gifts, having your party members active, and using their SAS abilities have a small effect on that counter. I managed to level up 4 members to their max without giving the vase paws gifts to them.

I think I got lucky, I barely had to do any farming to get all of the plugins/gifts on my first run so I would have to say no in my experience. And when I say barely I was missing materials for like 10 items.

The vase paws analysis is also needed to buy the gift "fortune telling cards", which Kyoka loves. I'm at the point where I'm just going to give up and try to finish the game without the plug-in upgrades, because I can't get them to drop at all.
