About Yuito (spoilers)

i know it said he had a high chance of losing powers but since he had them 50 years in the future wouldnt he keep them and not lose them? just curious

I think it has something to do with "when" He knew he would lose his powers, as many "duds" do. But it's also rare(?) for it to be right away. It's like erosion, it's over time. So when he was in the future, his power could have diminished, or was maintained because of the clip on his ear.

ya i guess but i don't remember him ever losing the clip in game i'm just making a guess but it seemed like most people retired after 30ish years or a lil after so i don't see why he couldn't have been told he'd be fine for that time but i guess it was to move the story forward and such not exactly the smartest when it comes to time travel stuff so idk if the timeline being different also effected it which i guess should of been the real question i asked

it might be possible that due to the changes in the past, the future that is to be no longer will be, who knows what variables might change, could also be possible future Yuito kept taking the ampoules to diminish the effects of power loss.

I'm just going to assume it has to do with story telling reasons. I wouldn't "read to far into it" personally, mostly because everyone is a critic, and think they know better or know how the game should go. I didn't like how Naomi Randell just dies and Alice gets a free redo . I think that they will add content for that later, or a new game, aka Scarlet Nexus Ch.2

not saying that i know better or anything was just curious what others thought i hope there is a ch.2 i actually liked the game so, also agree on the redo

Future!Yuito specifically mentions that the reason he's blind was a side effect of the treatment to maintain his powers. Ergo, main timeline Yuito has a high chance of losing them at some stage--in fact, given his attitude and not going along with the evil experiments, it's almost certain that he will at some point.

Dont remember that at all looked again and he said he still has powers but is retired from the osf but nothing about going blind from taking ampules he didnt even mention how he went blind ara said he seemed blind but he recognized her voice

he most likely gone blind in one of his excursions after Karen's coup, after all in this timeline Kasane didnt go back in time so equally speaking she was stuck somewhere in the timeline when the Kunad Gate opened, he was probably responsible on getting Spring Pharma setup a depository? in Suoh, after digging on the info that his Father had been into shady things this wasnt explored in the main timeline

If Yuito loses his powers he will most likely not be a protagonist in the sequel(if it beomes a thing in the first place). What's the point of MC who can't fight?

Yuito uses strange medcine in future, after outing from OFC.
They made him to loose seeing ability, but help with his abilities weakining. Anyway, we don't know, how strong his abilities are, may be there was last time, when he can used them.

as i said to the guy above i rewatched the cutscene a few times it says nothing about him taking medicine and/or that being the cause of him going blind, although it definitely could be and probably is but i don't think you should say it as a fact when its more of a speculation

also I have to ask Togetsu wants him to interface with BABE.... but exactly why... when they already know of his history if what Kyoka said in her Bond 5-6 episode is true.... she's shadowing also as a Togetsu agent for Wakana like she did for Kasane and may or may not have actually replaced Yuito's diapers at one point....

A lil late since I just played the game. But future Yuito lost his eye sight due to drugs to keep his power which Seiran was still researching in his time. But in the new timeline Yuito and Kasane were successful with eradicating the extinction belt and kunad gate which means a severe shortage off both others for the research and the particles to make the bullets may have occurred also lessening the need to gather brains and maybe even put a full stop to the research as OSF most likely continued until others left were extinct on earth at least. This means the drug may have not been fully developed or it just simply ran out of resources to make it if it needs more than just brains but some other or extinction belt related ingredients as well. This means no more drugs for power maintenance and power boosting hence Yuito may have lost his powers earlier than previous timeline future Yuito.
