Endgame content
I had finished the game on Both Yuito and Kasane and it had said something about unlocking endgame content, was that just a few quests? Or is there a new area I can go to?

None that I know of. The replay value of this game is extremely horrible.

Imagine spending hours, if not days trying to get the best equipment for your team, max their bond level and obtain all skills - only to find out that there's no level scaling in this game and everything becomes too weak to provide a challenge.

Combat is the only redeemable feature of this game, but even that was ruined by the horrible EX New Game design and the lack of level scaling.

Im hoping we get something later, like if this is the Tales of Vesperia crew, why not a cameo battle against some people. Any extra content would be nice.

I was hoping for endgame contents, so would you say Code Vein has more endgame contents than this?

yes code vein has ng+ at least scale a bit and then theres the depths this game you just restart from the beginning with no enemies scaling with you and your lvls (if you choose to) and all your items money and gear so u just kill things in 1-2 hits for half+ of the game

Eh, to each their own. I personally like that there is no level scaling here and I can actually feel the power progression as my character levels up or I level up the bond with my team.
The game offers multiple difficulty settings and that should be enough for those that want a bigger challenge.
Just my two cents.

Totally agree. The problem is then with the players who start their first playthrough at the highest difficulty - feeling powerful to them equals being challenged, which I, personally, don't get, but eh.

Yee I started off on hard mode expecting something like "unknown" or "mania" from tales games to unlock. I was well leveled by the NG+ playthrough

Honestly wished there was a level reset option so it feels at least you're not OP in the beginning and still get that feeling of progression.

The game does actually ask you if you want to reset your level when starting NG+.

Uh, there is. Seriously, how did you miss this option? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2535168752

A bunch of Code Vein's "endgame" stuff came as DLC released at some point later on, so I wouldn't count any of that stuff right now since this game is about a week old at the moment.

That's a lot to not include all in all, but there was the Tower of Trials I think? So the three Tower of Trials things and new game+ that had increasing difficulty up to like NG+6 I think, as well as replaying the Depths stuff in general I suppose? Assuming all of that was there at the start, honestly I got the game a few months ago, I dunno what it was like on day one. For all I know the way they did NG+ over there could've been patched in later or something, same with the Tower if I'm not just outright forgetting that was a DLC itself.

Pretty sure ng+ was there from the beginning as for tower of trials I believe that was added later, honestly wish ng+ in scarlet nexus was same as code vein or like ds

They probably figured the difficulty setting more or less did the job there. With Code Vein the closest you had to something like that was deciding whether or not to use the NPC companions and/or co-op. But I agree even though I don't know if I'd really bother using that kind of NG+ system here. More options is generally better than less for this kind of thing.

This is in essence a Tales game with real time combat, so don't get your hopes up.

What you paid and played for is the story itself, not anything else, just like with all other mainline Tales games out there. If you want replayability for the sake of replayability then there are plenty of lawns in the world that needs your help!
