the game is unplayable

Can somebody tell me why the game is completely unplayable for me ? I tried to use my keyboard and mouse, my xbox controller even my ps5 controller and nothing works.
all the button mapping is messed up, the camera change is on the triggers and i cant change it !

The only time I had a messed up xbox controller config, it was caused by a Steam client update, but resetting everything fixed it for me.

If you click on the 'Steam' menu option on the top left of the client and choose SETTINGS, then CONTROLLER. In the general controller settings window try switching on only xbox and generic controller compatibility.

Then leave that window and choose Desktop config and make sure its got the generic desktop config loaded.

After that, go to your Steam Library, right click Scarlet Nexus, choose MANAGE and then CONTROLLER CONFIGURATION. Reset this to a generic gamepad config.

If after all that you are still having issues with the xbox controller, then there is likely a third party piece of software you have installed which is creating a conflict.

Sorry for the late answer, it was indeed a steam controller problem. I have made an update and everything works now! Thanks for the help guys !

Thank you, that really helped with the issue. It is still not a 100% accurate but enough to at least be able to play smoothly.
