Too many tutorials
It's like a pop up a minute. Why do you need to pause the game to let me know that fire will burn enemies? Or that you can save at places that obviously are save spots. Not only that, the char constantly reminds you when items are dropped or nearby. I've heard of hand holding but this is ridiculous. 4 hours in and still more things keep popping up. 95% of it useless.

this is true, and i would like the option to turn those thinigs off

but

after coming back to it after putting it down after doing to my 2 playthough, its actually kind of nice to get get these reminders no matter where you left off. That and because there isnt enough character banter mainly to keep the game sub interesting in between fights.

I can understand that but if you really forgot how to do things there is a help menu in the options. some of the pop ups are useful. But when the game gives you a char that does fire damage, stops the combat to bring up a prompt that says you can use fire to burn enemies, then constantly has a tip popup on the side of the screen as a reminder that some enemies are weak to fire, on top of the chars talking about it in the battle, it feels excessive.

I've counted and there has been roughly 50 tutorials in the first 5 hours of the game.... and the game is still adding them as you play.

There is never a good reason to treat your players like idiots, even if they are idiots. Tutorials and in game characters saying "hey look at this stupid player" should always be optional.

I don't think all tutorials are bad. If there is new stuff that only applies to this game, a tutorial can be welcome. I just hate when tutorials keep popping up hours in and even basic ♥♥♥♥ is explained. I shouldn't have to play for 10 hours before the tutorials stop.

Never underestimate the sheer stupidity of the average gamer, if it were the other way around you'd have idiots complaining that the game doesn't explain its mechanics well enough

Then make it an optional feature. Or do what some games do where the tutorial is a side path, or notes on the ground, or pretty much anything else.

Why does the game need a giant pop up to tell you how to play the game when you already know? Makes replaying the game a pain in the ass. And then the game constantly reminds you of those things AFTER the popup is gone. How many times my chars blurt out obvious ♥♥♥♥ in battle after the tutorial already told me the enemy is weak to electricity. I don't need the chars saying it every 10 seconds too (especially while I AM ATTACKING with electricity)
