Helicopter Throttle/Collective
I really enjoy the new helicopters! But I don't like the way you control the throttle/collective.

I remember back in PR for BF2, you had to press 'W' all the time to "hold the collective up" (to hold it at 100%). I liked the chopper handling more that way. With the current system you kind of have to jiggle around with the throttle all the time and in combination with the -in my opinion- far to excessive ground effect you end up skidding over the ground when you try to land with little applied collective. So it occurs -when landing like the way suggested- (slow down, jam down the collective and pull it up to max when close to the ground) you most likely end up smashing the helo to the ground (but it won’t crash *cough realism cough*) or like a jiggly-jojo up and down.

I would love it if you would bring back the 'old' fashioned collective style or at least let players choose in the settings.

Nonetheless great job on the helicopters! I really love the model and especially the sound design, great work!

haven't played battle field on pc since 4 came out and i don't remember how garbage controls where for that game but i recall it being bad, what this game should take a note of is how well the flight controls work for rising storm 2 vietnam, having your pitch and tilt fixed and the throttle too in their advanced mode it makes for a highly responsive and controllable aircraft when working with keyboard and mouse

I don't mind fixed collective that you shift up and down with a key, although they could add a sensitivity modifier to the settings menu to allow fine tuning how much a tap or hold of S or W shifts it.

or it would be nice to have a bind for collective steps (5% or 10%). It's very non-linear now, you gotta make these small quick taps and glance at your instruments all the time.
