I left a pannel in game, restart your game you should be able to find it.
By the way I found that pressing C makes you run faster, and holding shift makes you run slower. There might be things to experiment with those clues !
When you go up the stairs between the 2nd and 3rd gong (on the left side of the stairs going up), you will notice a small rock outcropping... it is possible to drop down to that outcropping to read the sign there:
dis is not de wei
There does not seem to be anything else there.
Tip: Continue up to the 3rd gong (to save your game), then backtrack down the stairs until you are above the outcropping. Directly dropping down does not work for me, you can do so from the "side" though (at height 1764).
(Only now noted that sign was probably set by another player... interesting.)
I see it. It seems there is some kind of floating platform in the distance if you walk straight ahead a bit. It only appears if you actually walk the path a bit, but then it stays there. There is an invisible wall at the front, so you probably have to reach it from the back or the side.
I wish I knew about running earlier...

Next to the flag there are presently two signs... if the clip path over the ledge was actually a path, one should be able to navigate it by placing more signs (or just trying to place them). I tried this but no further signs could be placed further out (AFAICT).
Update: When I *walk* out onto the invisible brush (at 3090), past the two signs, a small floating island appears (as you walk you hear a "gong" and the island spawns). Mine is very much simpler than the one in the screenshot though... half-sphere rock with a single tree on top.
seems like it to me
You know what that is exatly what it is. I am a genius
I assume walking (slowly) is the best approach to all of this.
Now it makes me wonder if there are other blind roads
I was thinking something along the same lines since I've noticed you seemed to get slightly lower as you were about to fall off. I will have to test it out soon.
But the real deal is this image :

Tip : to get to the second image, you first need to get to the platform posted by Sorokonojka !!
