How to Save/Load backups whenever you want

Trying to find information on where the game's Save files are located to make backups turned out completely fruitless, so after figuring it out for myself I thought I'd post it here in case anyone else wants to be able to backup their progress.

This game saves your progress in the Registry, not in Appdata or anywhere else like that.

To Backup your data

1. Press Windows Key + R, or right-click on your Start icon and select Run.
   
2. Type in "regedit" without the quotes to open your Registry.
   
3. Find the folder called "YUMENIKKI -DREAM DIARY-" located at:
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Active Gaming Media\YUMENIKKI -DREAM DIARY-
   
4. Right-click the YUMENIKKI folder and click Export.
   
5. Name the Registry Key and save it somewhere of your choosing.

To Load data from a Backup

1. Delete the "YUMENIKKI -DREAM DIARY-" folder in the Registry, located at the aforementioned:
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Active Gaming Media\YUMENIKKI -DREAM DIARY-
   
2. Navigate to your folder containing your previously made backups and double-click it to add the saved keys to your Registry.

The game saves progress by simply adding information to the Registry, rather than changing flags or keys, hence why you need to delete the game folder in the registry before restoring a backup. Simply trying to add an earlier key without deleting the current save information won't change any of the stored data.

Hope this helps someone else who, like me, wishes to be able to save or load previous progress at will to try out different things or whatever else.
