300 points on arcade mode !?!?!?!??!?!?!

brooooooooo how the f do you do this i get 250 maybe 270 really pushing it i've tried multiple combos (mini gun with thore hammer , every grenade , assault rife with lazer) nothing is working i really hate this niche achievements where it seems you got to be so perfect down to a t also wave 50 in holdout is insane what in the dodgeball hell is that crap got to wave 35 and got hit by some stupid sniper crab in the back

They are hard for sure. I did 300 points with dual pistols, hammer, and black hole like a year ago. Got 50 in holdout using black hole, claw, and minigun around the same time. I understand it can be frustrating, but thats what makes it satisfying to complete

I don't remember arcade giving me any issues, but holdout was a huge pain for me. I cheesed it by getting on top of the structure in the middle and jumping back and forth over the opening while occasionally tossing down frost to coat the ground and kill everything.

This was all pre update though, I have no idea how the update might have affected that mode.

I got it pre update for arcade, try to group them up for rock explosions or fire, the more you kill the faster they spawn.

Minigun, Ice Wave and Hammer, for me. Just play long range and focus on dodging.

for arcade, I liked using the blade launcher and using pierce to get alot more enemies dead at once. For holdout, remember, since ememies are equivilant to island 1 hp, something that does alot of base dmg is great on it, like the crossbow. Other than that, just camp pillars on holdout, makes things alot easier.

laser cannon, claw, grenade. keep your melee key held it does the most. use grenades to clear far away clusters of enemies. Use laser cannons to kill ranger enemies. Melee should do a majority of the work. Just dash into enemies with no regard for your health and you should get there.

Back in the day, Laser Cannons were the go-to weapons for that achievement

Now that you have Pickaxe melee, its probably easier to get it now than before (before we only had dagger, claw and hammer, which used to be before rework, kinda worse)
