The Anvil Update Feedback Thread
I have posted a hotfix to address most of the common issues people had with the initial Anvil update (you can read patch notes here: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/774801/view/510702675801670085 ) but if there are any remaining concerns for the next major update, feel free to voice them here! 🦀

Currently doing a run with electro orb and got the bouncing grenade mod and now the ball basically goes straight to the ground when throwing instead of gliding and bouncing, is that intended?

Now "bug" with lightning-scepter:
The trajectory got updated, but weapon-mods like "piercing-wave" did NOT. They still have the old way shorter range. So now you either hit with the normal attack or with the weapon-mods.... contrary to all straight-firing weapons.

From the patch notes : Driller now only spawns loot for teammates that also have the Driller perk in their inventory which should nicely balance things out. Previously only one teammate needed to have Driller in order to spawn loot for every teammate every time it triggered which was super unbalanced in comparison to solo runs. Note that if a player that doesn’t have Driller breaks a destructible rock, the game will still try and spawn a pickup using the team’s Driller chance

Tony’s Black Card now works similarly to Driller in multiplayer: instead of choosing the player with the highest discount, it adds up the total discount of all players combined and then divides by the total number of players that have Tony’s Black Card in their inventory
Just noticed this on my current run: Full Metal Jacket also works on you, meaning dmg goes through your shield too. Tooltip only states dmg goes through enemy armor.

Yeah...explains a lot now...

Oooohhhh - so that is why yesterday i had a run with still 2 shields and >90% HP showing during death-slowmo when i suddenly got kaboomed.

Yeah had a few really well built minigun runs end abruptly and I couldnt figure out why then I watched my HP drop with 2 full armor plates... O.O Nothing else could have been effecting it either.

Anyone else keep getting instant-killed by poison DoT? Poison Crabs and the Ant boss just ended two co-op runs in biomes 3 and 4 on easy in ~1 second. Is this a new issue, or something that's been thrown off balance with the health changes?

Seems like Sniper + Homing shot doesnt work. shots miss or dont track enemies at all.

Could we maybe get some options for particle-effects to turn them down?
Also chest-opening still somehow takes a lot of performance (noticeable when you get to >100 chests).
And maybe some multithreading? the further into the run you are the more the load shifts towards the CPU till the FPS even goes below 20 - with the GPU sitting around 30% load only.

that one is always a strange thing. It does "work" but not well. With slower projectiles it becoems a lot better. Maybe homing just has a short fuse-time before engaging?

Im having a bit of trouble with my solo run disappearing if i join a MP game with my friends. Is that supposed to be a game mechanic or is it a glitch because none of my friends that i play this game with have a problem of their solo lobby runs disappearing on them after joining or hosting an multiplayer run even if we have to temporarily stop to take a break or something like that. And we continue where we left off before stopping

I’ve trolled the discussions here for an possible answer to me loosing my solo run when i join a mp run.it’s apparently an save file issue where you only get one saved game file so when i would join a mp session it overwrites my solo run. Could it be at all possible for us to get different safe files one for solo runs and one for multiplayers runs so that people don't lose their solo progress when joining friends on a run.

I feel like the loop scaling is way harder than before and I'm not sure I like it. I think it's fine going from 1->2 but past that the scaling gets insane. It's like you can't keep up with upgrades and everything just becomes a bullet sponge. This is my experience on True Nightmare.

I think the ideal scaling would be somewhere in between where it used to be and what it is currently.
If you encounter an elite with the homing barrel ability, the barrels can stack upon you and expel you under the terrain like so here :

Sometimes my weapons stop shooting for a few seconds after reloading. It's a really annoying bug. The homing explosive barrels are very annoying at the moment.
