Also, your melee attacks sometimes destroy projectiles or send them back, like a lightning crab's lightning ball attack can be repelled by your Claw melee to be sent back to him, doing some damage
If you have dagger/claw, try meleeing 24/7, you will be taking a lot less damage, but you can still get bitten by melee enemies
And just stay away, fly away from exploding enemies, that's all. Speed Demon/Stamina will help you with that a lot
