people who complain sniper is ♥♥♥♥ are just people who dont know how to use it ^^
Well bcoz of that, i would say crossbow and blade launcher is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, bcoz i dont know how to build them....
split link?(the one that splits into multiple projectiles when you crit, it can chain of itself), bouncing,
Then just go for the other crit perks and other stuff you think are good.
But bouncing is a must!
I tried one run with and without it..
Instantly lost at island 100 without bouncing, but i did survive to island 150 with bouncing enabled, same perks, nothing else changed then i gave up bcoz i was bored :)
Sure, sniper might be the worst gun early on, but the best later on bcoz its heavily rely on rare af perks.
Yeah i also love the cluster launcher and Dual shotguns!!
Sniper produces least lag, therefore best gun :)
Feels like you have things upside down.
Pretty much every gun can be usable, so long as you get the right perks, some of them require more specific perks than others, meaning when you do get them the run can be great, but many runs where you dont just suck.
Knowing which perks to aim for and when and all that makes a massive difference, honestly people who think that guns like the rocket launcher and sniper are the worse guns probably just focus on the wrong things (or wrong playstyle), they definitely dont play the same as other guns but are strong all the same.
Rocket launcher: Can beat nightmare mode pretty easily with very few mods, all you need is one of the formations (arc is best, any work) and split shot. Get one or two damage mods and perks and its easy. (btw if you are having trouble hitting the airborn enemies, you can actually shoot their shadow, and the splash will hit them)
Sniper: Highest base damage (scales well with Critical Link, Icebreaker, etc.), works really well with formations (triple is good early, any grouped together one works later, even arc can be useful for clearing mobs) along with Split Shot, Bouncing Shot, etc. And especially Targeting Shot. Gets very strong with All You Can Eat and fire rate.
If you are struggling, learn how to use melee in combination with guns, it makes up for all that the sniper lacks. The sniper easily takes out any tough enemy, and melee or grenades (depends on if you get good mods for one or the other) can take out mobs. And eventually with the right mods the sniper can handle the mobs too.
Blade Launcher: Is alright with its sudo AoE and pierce, along with its average damage so it benefits from most kinds of damage up (both sharp shot and your basic ones like High Caliber), its alright, but falls off late game (post 60) especially with the lag.
The rest are ok, all pretty average, although the Orb launchers limited range and all that just makes it kinda suck.
Minigun: Is essentially dependant on Sharp Shot to feel good (can sorta function with some of the lesser flat damages, but nothing compares) Late game its too laggy, hits the projectile limit of 300 wasting a lot of bullets. And the modifiers like the bullet formations (Arc, Square, etc), Targeting Shot, etc. take way to many to start feeling useful.
Can be fun to run with the Ultra Shot and Time Shot ones and fire rate.
Alright but Overrated, i've done many runs with this, so i have a lot of experience (wanted to see if I could get a run where money shot was worth it, even when you have 5+ money shot by the end of the first island its just not worth it, and if it would work with any gun it would be this one)
The problem with this one is how much it depends on specific mods to feel any good, but when you do get them it can be enjoyable.
Like how early game rocket launcher can be one of the most OP, or how miniguns are so dependant on specific mods that early game is often quite terrible.
and can you explain in what way its copium? And copium about what specifically?
Simply talking about my opinions on the weapons. Which vastly differ from yours.
Feels like you thinking snipers should be deleted is far more copium than anything I said. You'd rather a gun be removed than learn how to utilise it well.
