As for grubs, yes, they did get faster, primarily Elite Grub whatever it's called. It basically starts charging you so make sure you get away from it as fast as possible. Use dash and slide on repeat. Speed Demon perk will help a lot vs him
Now I do find the charging grubs annoying insofar that they just 'speed' up but their animation doesn't really match 'charging at you'.
However, the change to fire ants and Shotgun elites absolutely sucks. ♥♥♥♥ these new versions. Shotgun grab just became multiple projectile bazooka crab
Fire ants attacked in a very avoidable pattern so they got buffed so you could just jump over their stuff 24/7
Ice skulls no longer attack as fast, their projectiles are slower
Elite Pumpkins no longer can hit you by firing 69 barrages of fire all around which, on one hand, is more balanced, on the other, they now feel almost somewhat weak compared to other elites IMO
Dunno, just playing through this thing, normal enemies now day way more damage to you, I keep dying to normal mobs over and over while I clear elites with ease. What's going on lol? Why are elites suddenly so much weaker?
Lightning crabs' bouncy attacks also dont seem to bounce all that much, very easy to dodge now
Charging grubs are an issue, I agree. Just try to keep air hang time by utilizing pickaxe skill in mid-air to cover more ground while dashing
grubs are too op chasing you down aoe-ing through walls
elemental enemies in general are too strong
also so many times enemies spawning right behind me even though i havent moved is lame af
ye i was kinda wrong with my post. I do admit normal enemies have become too strong and I don't like it either. Worst major update I've personally seen. Idk what kind of brew Noisestorm cooked up but this witchcraft is obviously just not working out. I'm struggling myself playing in True Nightmare. I keep dying to normal enemies far more than to Elites, like WTF is going on
