I believe this is what's happening right now: (anyone - feel free to correct me)
If you start up a single-player, you'll overwrite YOUR MP-character, but your friends will
be able to continue as if nothing happened - you can still join that game, but you will
have a blank character.
(I'm researching, because I've got a great game going with my friends and they had to
call it for the night, but I wanted to continue playing.
So, it looks like we're being held hostage by our multiplayer sessions. :)
I wish the game would separate at least between SP and MP saves.
the save location is appdata\local\crabchampions\saved
copy the savegames folder and make a backup of it
then you can either load the game without a folder named savegames to generate a new one, or i assume you can make a second copy of your original one and continue from there
just make sure you name the folders so that you can tell which one is which, and then name the one you want to use "savegames" when you're swapping
Cheers!
