How to Unlock Claw Melee Weapon

I have unlocked all the weapons to at least ruby, all grenades / abilities, all other melee weapons, ultra chaos, and have many spare keys. The claw melee weapon is still locked, how do we unlock it?

the claw is the default melee weapon, you should have had it unlocked since the start.
