Does not work with crossbow since it already has arc shots as its normal attack.
Which it should work with the crossbow, or the perk should simply not be available why you play with the crossbow. Each weapon should have weapon exclusive perks anyway.
Projectile-based perks will only affect the original projectile(s). So if you have triple shot and arc shot, it will triple the bullet in the middle but not the ones created by the arc. This is the same with every other similar perks like X, square, triangle, etc...
Same deal with Firearms, it will only increase the projectile count of the original bullet and not the ones from those other perks. Try going for a projectile rocket launcher build and you'll see it clearly.
