The support branch just causes the game to crash on launch when it didn't before.
i'd try this stuff first but when it worked all the things i had done were:
1) enabled stereo mix
2) turned off Exclusive Mode for my mic (unchecked "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device)
3) set discord audio to "Experimental"
4) hit my discord Toggle Mute button a bunch of times , leaving it muted sometimes, hitting my Push To Mute button sometimes. i think once when i was doing this it started working just as i clicked a button in the game that brought up a menu. go nuts. it didn't start working immediately after spamming, but after several seconds and pauses and garbage like that
...the audio for listeners only fixed after the mute button mashing.
i think?? setting Stereo Mix as my Input Device for discord fixed the audio for watchers, but i couldn't be heard without bringing another computer-esque device into the mix so i didn't considering it a good fix
When I go into sound settings in discord, it breaks the stream's audio while i'm there, but is fine again when i close the in-discord overlay. maybe this is a big clue to anyone who knows what they're doing lmao
1) found under the Recording tab in the Sound settings
2) found in same place, but right click what you use for a mic > Properties > Advanced
3) User Settings > Voice & Video > a drop-down option under "AUDIO SUBSYSTEM" is "Experimental"
good ******* luck (◕ᴗ◕✿)
THANK YOU
experimental mode works
