Zeeple Dome? Really?
Oh, Jackbox. Have you learned nothing from Party Pack 3? After the debacle of Fakin' It in JPP3, I assumed that you realized that a very large part of your player base plays this game through streams.

The contents of JPP4 suggested to me that you might have learned your lesson...and now here we are in JPP5, and we have Zeeple Dome with the same problem, albeit in a different form.

I bought this game to play it with my viewers. As it stands, this game simply is not playable online, due to needing to switch back and forth between windows constantly.

Unfortunately most of the games are hard to stream or unstreamable. Mad Verse City loses its 'fire/boo' system to lag on a stream which us ridiculous because the game is otherwise great. Split the Room loses a lot of time to having to type the prompts for people with lag, and they are looong.

Zeeple I just...I don't get it. It's not a party game???

What was the “debacle of Fakin' it”? That you have to play the party game at a party and not on Twitch?

For Zeeple Dome it is similar. You need to be in the same room to play it. Another problem is that it is more a fun game.

I would also like to remind you about Bomb Corp in Jackbox Party Pack 2. It was a very great game in my opinion. Yet, it required you to be in the same room – or at least in a voice chat – to be able to synchronize before the time runs out.

I think it is fine that some of the packs do contain one game that are best played in a room. You can still play the four other games.

Just because you don't have friends doesn't make a game a debacle. Fakin it is great.

I don't like zeeple dome, but I can see the value in trying something new even if it fails.

Wtf? There are also people that play the game in their house with friends and family

Wow, rude. Assuming much? Nice job turning a simple objection into a personal attack. Do you act like this on all forums, or is this one special?

You keep making these threads where you keep complaining about streaming not being an ideal way to play it (duh) and I find it almost as annoying as trying to look at the screenshots and seeing the same 2 or 3 people spamming their unfunny screenshots.

Jacksbox would lose a lot of it's charm if it exclusively made mini-games for just the twitch audience. A lot of the fun of this series is being in the same room as your friends, and experiencing the game together. Having a few mini-games designed around being in the same room makes the game more interactive and enjoyable for in-person groups, which is why Fakin-it is one of my favorite mini-games. Honestly, a few mini-games designed around in-person groups doesn't really have such a negative impact on the game for twitch users for it to be deemed a "debacle", as there's a plethora of other mini-games that substantially work better for streamers.

You do have a point there. It is annoying to assume that the whole Jackbox community only consists of streamers. The Jackbox games have always been party games. It is fine if some of them get options that optimize them for streamers. But one shouldn't assume that all of us only play via Twitch.

That said, I have to say that I still found it rude to assume that this player has no friends. Maybe her or his friends are just not that much into party games? Or maybe he or she moved away and their friends now need Twitch to play these games. And even if the assumption was justified, it is a personal attack that totally doesn't help in the discussion.

i am supremely dissapointed that the Game exists. This shouldn't be on any party pack. its a throw away game. My friend put it best, its more like someone's college programming project.
i love jackbox games, which is why i am highly critical of them. You are allowed to want the things you love to be better.

they spent too much time on YDKJ and probably went overbudget (hence the price increase) and all the other games really suffered. Being honest the only polished games are YDKJ, STR, and Patently Stupid, although PS has the issue with the pen being WAAAAY too large.

I thought that regardless of how fun they actually are, every game was super well polished this year except Patently Stupid, which just so happens to be my new favorite Jackbox game.

"Debacle of fakin' it?"
Mate you don't know what you're on about - that is the best game of the entire catalogue.

They are also under no obligation to make every game stream friendly. Many of us (probably a large majority) play in the same room with friends.

Maybe if you only stream through twitch. Through Mixer, the delay is a second at most, and the games are very streamable and playable.

I've never heard of Mixer. I'll have to look into it. Thanks!
