Xbox Controller Issue

I recently got the game, and i tried playing it with my wired controller. It works for the most part safe for one thing: the left trigger button. The left trigger doesn't work at all in my game, i try to press it to use a prayer, it didn't work, i tried rebinding it in the options, it doesnt even register in the game, i can rebind and press every other button perfectly, safe for this one button.

Sorry to hear that the left trigger button is not working - can you please try the below steps to see if they help at all?

1. Unplug the controller
   
2. Launch the Steam client and click the controller icon at the top right to enter Big Picture Mode
   
3. Go to Settings > Controller Settings and make sure that "Playstation/Xbox/Generic Configuration Support" are all toggled on.
   
4. Then simply plug your controller and retest the game

I've seen this resolution many times, and I've also tried it many times, it's never worked, left trigger simply isn't registering in the game. i cant even rebind another button to left trigger. It isn't a controller issue since my controller works with every other game that is compatible with one, so im not sure.

No, i do not have another controller, nothing else is plugged in besides my usual peripherals, mouse, keyboard and headset.

Exactly what controller are you using?
Does the trigger itself work correctly in other games?
What have you tried to rebind the trigger to?

I am using the PowerA Spectra Infinity Enhanced Wired Controller.

The trigger itself works in other games perfectly fine.

I tried to rebind other buttons to the left trigger, like the health pot button but it simply doesn't register. I tried switching around my LB to my LT, switch my prayer to LB worked, but when i tried to change my health pots to LT, they just- didn't work.

As i said, i can rebind any other button to anything else just fine, but it's only the left trigger.

I had to rebind the prayer button the L3 to be able to play.

Terrible tech support. I'm having the same issue with the Xbox one version using an Xbox controller. I've already had about three instances in my 12-hour play through so far where it stopped working. It's just a bug in the game and it's also why I won't be purchasing the sequel anytime soon. Hoping it's not as rough as this release was.

I had the same issue but with the RT button on one x box comand
