Game does not save after Ascending save file.

Game does not save after Ascending save file. I went through, killed a boss and quit to the menu to find that the file i chose to ascend on was back to the original un-ascended save file. Got on today to test it again and I had the same issue.

It was not specific to "Ascending". I tested to see if my base file was working fine and it was not saving either.

I had already tried to go the route of "verify cache integrity" through steam and that did not work.

I simply uninstalled and reinstalled the game and this fixed my issue. My game now saves properly and I can now continue with my penance. Thank you for reaching out.
