Torn Bridal Ribbon missing?

I'm pretty sure that I bought the Torn Bridal Ribbon early in the game, but now that I need it to get the Egg of Deformity, it's neither in my inventory nor in Candelaria's store in Graveyard of the Peaks. How can I get this item back?

Blasphemous is a great game but seems to suffer on a technical level when it comes to bugs. I think this maybe a bug with no fix sadly as I have encountered the same issue. The store is empty and my inventory does not contain this item. I couldn't find much on the matter other than one person on reddit. So that's at least 3 times this has happened.
