Can't progress due to elevator bug in the Archcathedral Rooftops

I reached the Rooftops with both masks acquired and used them on the statues in order to activate the elevator. After using the second mask, the elevator moved, but my character clipped through it, falling into the lower map (I had the Linen of Golden Tread equipped). After returning to the elevator screen, the elevator was in the original position again, but neither switches can be activated, and I can't interact with the statue again. I can't progress because the elevator doesn't work, and it is the only way up in the area. I checked some YouTube gameplay and it seems this was not the expected behavior. My guess is that the elevator "thinks" it is in the upper level, but its position got reset, thus unabling me to interact with the switch.

Although its not similar, I have a problem in the exact same location, if I call down the elevator, it pushes me down and my character is stuck.

I happen to have the exact same problem, the elevator got stuck after I died while the elevator was one floor above. When I went back and called the elevator down, the switches couldn't be activated. Coincidentally, it happened while I had offered only two masks (I think it's worth noting, since I've never had anything like this happen in my previous playthrough in which I had offered all 3 masks, despite dying in the same situations).

Got the exact same problem as OP and I also had Linen of Golden Tread equipped. Guess we're shafted till a patch drops.

With so many game breaking bugs, you'd think they would've released one by now. At least I got the elevator stuck on my second run so it's not such a big deal, but for people that got it on their first, that gotta suck.
