The game is very laggy or stuttering? Not sure what to call it.

So i have a i7 7700, 8 Gig RAM, RX580 8Gig and a entry level SSD for Windows 10. OS and drivers are all up to date.

The game isn't smooth. Running around the game will freeze for a split second continuously. During the training boss it happened a few times while the boss was doing the leap attack then he would get stuck in mid air and i could just wail on him because he couldn't do anything.

Any ideas?

honestly i have 0 issues with the game
but let me copypaste something someone said that helped me in another game


"Its the same with all Unity games. Add this to your launch/startup parameters "-window-mode exclusive". This forces Unity games into exclusive fullscreen mode and fixes all stutters, some games can have issues with this but so far most I've played don't.

Remember for GSYNC/Freesync you will also have to cap your fps to 10 under your max refresh rate."

Thanks but i switched to steamos and it runs 100% there after setting launch option PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1

I game in a pci passthrough vm because, reasons. Windows 10 wasn't liking my new hardware, i had some other issue pop up too so i just formatted and loaded steamos.
