Bug with the Masks Elevator

I searched a bit and haven't found anything like this in the discussions. I already beat the game, and decided to start a new save. Everything was going normal, grabbed the first mask from Melquiades, the second from Exposito. Used both on the elevator, all normal.
When i got to the second floor (the last one that should be available, since i only got two of the three masks) i noticed i could pull the lever to go up again. So i did.

I'm not sure what caused this, but i haven't even killed Quirce yet, and the final area is already available, no third mask needed.
