BEWARE: True Guilt NG+ vs. Immaculate Bead
Just a heads up. If you're planning to do the Detestatio Sacrorum Challenge for ending A in a NG+ run with Penitence of the True Guilt active, be aware that dying with the Immaculate Bead equipped will cost you ALL your Tears of Atonement (aka money) with NO WAY to retrieve them.

If you die in True Guilt, you will lose all your money until you pick up your Guilt Fragment. Dying with Immaculate Bead equipped will prevent the Guilt Fragment from spawning, so you can't get your money back. I imagine this could be quite brutal if you do it mid game and don't see it coming.

My advice: transform Immaculate Bead into Weight of True Guilt as early as possible (before beating any bosses) so that the loss of ToA is minimal. OR do it at the very end after purchasing all the items, church upgrades etc.

Hm, I had a situation when I lost all ToA on True Guilt. But not everything is clear here for me. I fell down in a gap near the elevator going down to Albero. With this bead. No guilt to collect. But later on at this very place I lost few battles in a row in that stupid arena and with this bead, BUT - I could collect my guilt with few ToA. Thus, are you absolutely sure that any death with this bead will lead to the loss of ToA? Coz I thought that only falling in such gaps leads to such situation.

That's exactly what happened to me. I jumped down the elevator shaft a few times with Immaculate Bead equipped to get Weight of True Guilt and there was no Guilt Fragment to pick up between deaths. But I didn't question it, really. I kinda expected it since that's how Immaculate Bead usually works, no guilt fragment to pick up until it's fully transformed. Except you can keep your Tears in non-True Guilt runs, of course.

So, are you sure you didn't do the same? Afaik, you can't enter the arena fights without a fully transformed Weight of True Guilt. And once it's fully transformed, it doesn't prevent guilt (fragments) anymore.

So, step by step.
- Entered the elevator area
- Destroyed the guilt statue
- Decided "hey! thats time to equip and improve Immaculate bead", so I just jump down...
- Surprised that almost 30K ToA gone.
- Jumped few more times to improve bead to final level
- Entered arena with upgraded bead
- Failed many times, but each next time collected back.... damn, now I realised. So low lvl bead prevented guilts from spawn, but when I was entering the arena and dying there, I already had fully upgraded bead, so guilts could spawn again! That's the answer.

Exactly. It dawned on me when I picked up the bead which happens to be sitting right next to that statue right next to that elevator ^^, so I figured this might be a popular spot for people to commit suicide and potentially lose their money. Tested it out and decided to post a warning here.

Fortunately, I had only cleared Ten Piedad at this point, so the loss of money was only around 5K and it didn't delay savepoint upgrades too much. I went on to kill Lady Cheeseface and the first Amanecida and was sitting at 30K after that. More than enough to buy the teleporter upgrade. But had I done all of this plus Jondo incl. bosses, and then lost all the money... I would have been so salty you could throw me in a fountain and bring me a deformed egg... ;)

It happened to me but it's no big deal. You get so much tears in NG+ that it never matters.
Just dump all of your tear in the church before doing the transformation.

Well, that's what I was actually going to do just after Beauty Face, so...

I went on to kill Lady Cheeseface and the first Amanecida
- Amanecidas are tought. Maybe they do not look as unique as bosses in original, but definitely much harder. The one in snowy location caused me the most pain... I was checking DLC bosses on TG and that was rather tricky.

I also thought the one at the snowy peaks was the hardest, and that's probably the first one players will encounter. When I first fought her, I was on Wavering Faith Penitence where your sword is weak af. I thought there is no way I can beat her with those stats and only 2 bile flasks. But couple of tries later, I figured I can just cheese her with blood boomerangs and invincibility spells... then, another couple of tries later, I finally managed to not suck balls and pull it off... ^^

On TG I felt she was easier cause your sword actually does damage plus you have fervor in abundance.
