Beating Escribar in NG+?
I already demolished the game in Penitence of the Bleeding Heart mode. The final boss was a joke.

Now, i am in Unwavering Faith. I breezed through the game very easily, but his holiness is a nightmare! 1 hit from a mere projectile and my health is down by 1/3! I know the game from inside out by this point and my beads/hearts/prayers set-up never failed me, so what gives? How to defeat it? Don't get me started on "git gud at platforming", i am good already, it's just not humanely possible to dodge everything and not mess up somewhere along the way. In normal game, few missteps wouldn't translate into horrible, instant death, too. And bleeding heart system was THE cheese.

I don't know if i accidentally did something wrong, because during the semi final boss, Chrisanta, game glitched after drinking a bile flask, a small graphics distortion manifested around the player in a circular shape and i received no damage at all, until i beat her.

Does it work as intended? Should Escribar hit like a truck at my Unwavering Faith Penitent One, or something is seriously off in my file?

Honestly I thought this fight was way too easy on Unwavering Faith if your only concern is beating it and aren't worried about doing it quickly. Just camp at the bottom until you take out the sword then spam Debla of the Lights in the middle until he goes down. I finished him in about three rotations this way while taking very little damage. As long as you're patient and don't get greedy this fight is a joke on Unwavering Faith.

Thanks! Debla was faster and safer, comparad against my strategy with approach closely, hit with sword and flying bulls zap him!

I also managed with careful use of Lorquiana, to deal with !@#$ 1st form.

For those worthy enough who think the NG+ True Torment Mode is easy, I recommend taking "True Torment FROM ZERO" for harder challenge. :steammocking:

It is not possible to start NG+ from a brand new 0% file (so far), but I managed to do so by editing a save file OR finishing NG WITHOUT ANY NG+ CARRIABLE UPGRADE (I actually did both). If someone is interested, just ask me, it's an awesome way to play the game :steamhappy:
