3) You can parry the scythe, but the timing has to be just right. Equip the long parry artifact to make this easier.
4) Parrying the "invisible ball" charge swipe (which also launches three inferno pillars) is ineffective, because the pillars will still hit you. Dodge towards it instead (attack and pillars will miss you).
5) Fourth combo hit upswing can help extend a combo chain to aerial. There is a rosary bead that lets you swipe and stay in the air longer, but it's only a small advantage.
You have to beat her to get the game's final ending though.
