I think i messed up when upgrading my flasks

I upgraded them as i went, so i doubt i got my full worth out of it. The real choice is to gather them all then upgrade, but hey, lifes full of difficult choices!

There's no problem if you upgade them, in fact the upgrade its for them all... I had a glitch though and I lost all of them... too bad.

There's a sword heart that reward more tears but remove flasks, could it be that you have equipped it?

No, it was a glitch. It even erase one of my beads of the rosary, as well as the life bar. It was reseted just as when you begin the game.

I've had a bug myself, more like a miracle, where I had upgraded 4 flasks already, but still had to find the 5th quicksilver. I had one empty bile vessel in my inventory, so I went to a Sanguine Fountain to refill it, wondering what would the outcome be. Maybe I'll have 4 upgraded flasks and a normal one next to them? More likely it won't show on screen?

As a result, after refilling the normal empty bile flask at the Sanguine Fountain, it turned into a 5th upgraded flask. It'd be cool now to actually find the 5th quicksilver and go visit Nacimiento, maybe I can end up with 6 upgraded flasks, maybe he's already dead by now.

Update: so after checking the 5 quicksilver locations with a guide to be sure, I positively had gathered them all, but I had not upgraded the 5th one via Nacimiento. So I just went to check on him but he's already dead. Oh well.
