If you hit them with a dodge-attack (Sacred Thrust/Lunge/Onslaught) right as they're attacking, they'll be stunned and you can execute them, or otherwise kill them with a single blow. It's all a matter of timing your attack and their large pool of health won't even matter as stunning attacks are basically instant kills.
Optimally, just stand at a slight distance and use blood attacks. Just make sure you don't have the Heart of Cerulean Incense equipped (which halves damage from blood attacks) and just jump over the projectiles they fire. If they're in a place above you, use the Debla of the Lights prayer to instantly-kill them. If you don't have that yet, go back and get it. As said above, this area is meant to challenge you even if you're already maxed out on power-ups.
Once you can kill the enemies in the area without taking damage, it's just a matter of avoiding the electrical environmental hazards to fully explore the area.
Ah, I was always thought that it is a matter of rng.
The ship fire figures are easy to take down if you wait very close to them, and then run away to jump over their energy balls, then attack them in mid air, holding dodge button to keep in air as you attack them, then repeat.
