What's the best sword heart?

I haven't really been using sword hearts as the downsides have always seemed to out way the benefits in my opinion but i just found the heart that gives you life steal in return for weaker flasks and was thinking of trying it. Is this heart any good? What are some other good ones?

Parry heart, both of them.
+Prayers dmg -Blood dmg heart.

Those are the ones I used. Might experiment more when NG+ and Nightmare mode comes most likely.

The descriptions are sometimes so badly worded you don't even know what they do. What is "stop phase", for example?

i used the one that increases parry time for the entire game, best in slot

I used the deal more/take more dmg heart and offset it with defense, invuln while healing, and increased prayer power beads with the invuln prayer
