No Perpetua's Protection

I fought the fight a while back and I seem to remember dying and when I went back the mini boss was just gone. Now seems like I can't get the item. Is this a bug or is there another way?

She doesn't come back. You have to kill her on the first try to get that bead.

Spoiler? You come across her again alongside another mini-boss way later in the game. I can't confirm if it drops again there for you or not because I got it when I first saw her.

It's just a bead, and nothing too special compared to other ones you get. So unless you're going for 100% completion I wouldn't worry about it that much.

When I asked about this previously, I was told that the bead drops if you get her in the second fight, but it drops at the tree where the first fight occurs, rather than you getting it automatically after the second fight, so you have to backtrack and go pick it up. It's unclear whether you have to actually kill HER or just the other guy. I know she teleports out if you kill him first, but that's it.

You can get the same bead later in the same spot after you fight her again, pretty sure.

You will be happy to know that now you can get the thing back from where you first meet her even if you avoid the boss fight where she appears again by using a certain item.

I don't think you have to actually kill her in the second fight to get the rosary to drop. Just beat the boss and it appears by the tree.

Which item can be used? I missed to defeat her, and I'm at the very end of the game, and only her bead is stopping me from getting the 100% achievement :(

If you only need the bead, just go to the location where you fought Perpetua, and the bead should be sitting there by the tree.
