What's your favourite music theme from the game?
I've watched a couple of interviews to the creators and they agree in the music being the most worked up and difficult part in the game. I think some of the themes are insane, so I bought the OST. Did you guys liked it? If so, what's your favourite piece?

Mine is Melquíades theme: "Entre Bordados" which means "Between Embroideries/Fancyworks". Man, it´s a ♥♥♥♥ing majestic death march/funeral procession... I can almost see the old religious folk, making their way through the crowd trying to approach the rests of the saint, trying to kiss the bones in order to get blessed. AMAZING!

I like the one in the town, it reminds me of Diablo.
Battle with Crisanta :)

It's interesting that developers didn't do any "ghotic catholic like" music. It's strange decision. Nevertheles, I like this soundtrack.

Crisanta's theme is called "Su beso de plata" = "Her silver kiss".

And about the "gothic catholic like" you mean chants and so? Yeah, some choral music for a solemn place/event would have been nice!

I hope they keep working the game through DLC (and solve some bugs and problems too, like the one with keyboard users). I think the idea has still a lot of potential.

I get your point, but for this game, I think the developers took the solemnity vibe of spanish processions among other typical music compositios such as the Copla, Taranto or Saeta.

Listen to the first bit of "Mi Amargura" / "My Bitterness", a typical march in processions:

I think that's the style the game wants,a baroque, orchestral, charged style. I know gothic can also be ominous and dark but and a little bit of it wouldn't have been half bad, and this is just my opinion. (I'm spanish btw)

Also, "Amargura" is the name of the monstruous four legged enemy that spits fireballs. His back looks like one of the bases of the steps that are carried by the penitents in Semana Santa. This game is a spanish folklore bomb.

Now I understand more, thanks. Can you write there, or another topic some other references to spanish folklore? I don't know much about it, and some monsters or things for me was like "generic fantasy" (mages, ghosts) or "generic medieval" (flagellants, relics) things. It will be cool to know more, to be more conscious (and less ignorant) about similiar stuff. It will be awesome!

Well, of course! I was thinking of doing that but I thought maybe not everyone would be interested. Well, I'll work up some bits of the game based on the declarations of the developers.

(And you are not ignorant, don't flagelate yourself, pun intended)
