After Quirce - Stuck!

Hi, so I know I'm supposed to be able to use a Key to the High Peaks after defeating Quirce to go access a new part of the convent. But, I cannot for the life of me find the elevator. I have all three keys for the prison area, and have opened as many doors as possible, which hasn't helped.

Any (precise) help would be appreciated, as I have looked high and low for many hours and I jsut cannot find this lift to go further.

Never mind, I watched a let's play and saw what I had been missing. I feel like a bonehead.

For the curious: there is a room a few screens east of quirce where you can drop through some wooden planks and defeat a lionhead guy. I simply never tried dropping through :(
