They buffed the eye. Even on NG you need 10 hits now. Over-correction and a pain, but hey, fireballs are easier now.

Man that's quite annoying. Three hits was fine, 5 would maybe be understandable for NG+, but ten?

maybe they encourage people to not only use the sword as damage source. because beating the last son of miracle are quite easy if you can spam the debla of light prayer.

Damn, I was aiming for a sword only attempt as well. I'll get there in the end, it will just be somewhat tedious.

just use the sword heart that buffs damage, along with the hair, and token of appreciation. should make the dagger easier to kill.

Yes the sword got buffed hit wise. The bigger issue with the sword though is honestly the AI. All too often that sword floats off screen... which is the thing that really wastes time.
