So, no damage upgrade for Mea Culpa on NG+?
A lot of foes now take a lot of hits to kill, and, honestly, it's kinda boring. I know it's supposed to be hard, but damage improvement would always be welcome.

What penitence did you took? Maybe min maxing your beads, heart, and prayer setup.

I took the unwavering faith penitence. I can kill most mobs easily with Cante Jondo of the Three Sisters prayer. And the Debla of the Lights was my main prayer when fighting a boss.

I took the that penitence that halved the damage, but I gave up because the damage was too low. Thanks for the tips. I'll try that.

Yes that is the unwavering faith penitence. Don't use your sword as your main damage source. Use prayers. Equip that bead which increase prayer damage/duration. Also for heart, equip the heart of cerulean something, the one that regenerate fervor but reduce blood throwing damage. Even though it's damage reduced, but the blood throwing still a viable damage source for mobs because of it's range.

I don't know about the other penitence, but the unwavering faith are really hard. I have to switch my setup from time to time, to find the best setup against a boss. It's hard but doable though.

Hope this helps.

I'm using the unwavering faith too. The sword damage is pathetic, takes a full combo to kill the jumper, but spamming prayers is so powerful. I think it's the easiest out of the three
