[Spoilers]A recommended route
Hey guys,
New to the game here, and I was wondering if there's a recommended route of this game, like where to go first and which item to get first, the map is so big and I'm a little overwhelmed.
My first try has finished the "have mercy" boss and the lady with burned face, but I have realized I missed a secret chamber from the tree guy.
So I have to restart and try from the beginning.
Hence, any advise? Thank you very much!

If you can't be bothered with that, first, I recommend using a map guide. There's an excellent one here on Steam.

My recommended route through the game is:

Brotherhood (Start) > Albero > Wasteland > Mercy Dreams (Ten Piedad) > Desecrated Cistern > Mountains > Jondo > Grievance Ascends (Tres Angustias) > Olive Trees > Peaks > Convent (Charred Visage) > Bridge of 3 Calvaries (Esdras) > Silent Steps > Mother of Mothers (Melchiades) > Library > Sleeping Canvases (Exposito) > Rooftops > Holy Prohibitions (Quirce) > clean up for anything you missed/left behind > top floor of Rooftops (Crisanta) > Deambulatory (Escribar) (End).

You should be able to very seamlessly get most of the mobility relics required to uncover most secrets with this path with little deviation (exception is the quest for the Three Gnarled Tongues which has a ton of back and forth to the depths of Grievance Ascends), and a fairly balanced increase in difficulty, though some areas are still more difficult than others even if they appear earlier.

Missables:

-Tirso's quest for herbs. He'll die (along with all the Kissers of Wounds) if you fail to give him at least one herb. Make sure you give one herb to him before facing each boss; there's always an opportunity to go back to Albero before a boss fight. Some areas have more than one herb - refer to a map guide.

-Gemino's (tree guy) quest is missable, but you'll only lose a single room and the opportunity to get a prayer, child of moonlight and one bone way earlier. The missable room isn't necessary for 100%. Make sure you complete the entire Olive Trees > Peaks > Convent > Charred Visage segment, without deviation (besides going to Albero to give Tirso herbs, or getting the Three Gnarled Tongues, which requires an item near the shortcut to Albero and going all the way back to the bottom of Grievance Ascends). I'm not sure if there's a timer, or if it depends on screen transitions, or killing any other boss before filling the Golden Timble with oil from the convent.

-Cleofas's quest, in which you'll miss a prayer and the 100% achievement. I recommend NOT killing the woman yourself (alternate way to clear his quest), because there are reports of the quest failing that way. Beat the 3 Esdras clones on the Rooftops, and give their items to her. Cleofas will stand on the precipice that overlooks the courtyard entrance to Mother of Mothers; make sure you talk to the window in the church building in Albero after talking to Cleofas first before going there. Give Cleofas the Cord of True Burying there, then he'll be waiting for you inside the church in Albero.

Go to have mercy first, then cross the "aljibe" and go to "jondo", by the path were the mans with the bull head, and finish the boss of "el quejido", then you can go to the boss of the lady with the burned face. (i dont't know the name of the areas in english btw)
