Jondo has pretty awful enemy placement.
I am three hours into the game.

Love the morbid atmosphere and design and most of all, and which is the point of this comment, pretty challenging but fair leveldesign.

However Jondo is pretty awful in some places when it comes to exactly that, level design and enemy placement.

Least favorite area so far.

It has enemy placement that makes it nigh impossible to avoid damage no matter if you counter or deflect and one place i am not even sure you can get out without glitching trough a moving platform and just dying all the time.

Which is unfortunate then that the Guilt Fragment is placed exactly there if you do so.

Did you get the ranged weapon? It's much easier with it

Yeah there's a certain room full of spinny bois that had me losing my ♥♥♥♥ but hey it's not supposed to be a cakewalk
Always hit their crosses with your sword. It knocks it back to them. If you deflect, it'll still go behind you. Also do a downward stab above them if you can. Works wonders.

Yeah, that platform with all the cross guys is super precise i died like 5 times before i manged to get out, if it went a little bit lower it would be a lot easier and wouldn't be as frustrating.

To Jondo was the first direction I went. I regret it, but I'll be damned if I walk all the way back to town.

Oh my, you exactly guessed the place i meant.

Yeah you have to be REALLY precise with timing and i can't imagine it was meant to be so accurate that you glitch trough the elevator. :-P

BUT i finally managed to brute forced my way trough and the the piece of guilt back.

There's a generalized problem wiht a lot of enemies in the game, and it's less their placement and more the fact that they continue to do active damage while dead for at least a half second.

Same for me, I went even lower after ringing the bell thing, but it's getting hard. I've played about an hour.

For what its worth, its a great game, not a perfect game (there is no perfect game) but excellent still in its strengths.

If i didn't have stuff to do i'd binge it in one go.
