I think it's one more combo in air. Yet to confirm
In air down+attack three times
Concerning the air down+attack does a a dive hit (learnt in sword altar) and no rebound on ennemies. I don't know if my inputs are incorrect, I tried a lot of times but this air rebound (like in hollow knight I guess) does not work for me.
It's preventing me for instance to go in the last part of the sleeping canvas there's a ledge i can't access without a double jump. If u know how to reach this one without it i'll be glad to to hear it.
The English translation suggests something related to combat, but the Spanish one (which, being their native language, I'd assume it's as exact as it gets) says something about extra impulse, which would mean a double jump or something that affects movement.
It would surprise no one if it was another bug.
With Big toe equipped - 4 times.
Game seems perfectly fine to me. Just because you don't understand what an item does doesn't mean it is bugged.
Just because you have not noticed a bug does not mean it is not present in the game. I have encountered multiple bugs during my playthrough, for example the lifts can push you through the platorm into mid-air where you can run in place, but not jump and fall, and the only way to resolve the problem is to turn the game off. There are problems with hit detection, some enemies hit even when the animation clearly misses and vice versa. Some item descriptions are poorly worded, probably because they were translated into English by someone who did not know the context, most notably the hearts. One says something like "the stop phase is shorter" while it's absolutely unclear what it refers to. Other descriptions do not make any sense at all, others are useless in practice due to bad design.
You can check the in game "how to play" for a better description of this mechanic.
So, how can I jump from mud?
+1. Just logged to say I am totally agree, I was thinking the same. Guess if he will do it better with his game... Oh, wait, he hasn't a game. Boom!
