You are able to play the game exactly the way you want. What I'm asking for is very simple and achieved by most games. Why do you begrudge me the ability to play the game comfortably?
And rather than adapt (like they should) they cry about the situation in hopes it will change.
Just ignore those cancerous Steam forum's users. They're always like that. No matter what you ask or complain about a game, they come here trying to insult you and saying you're wrong and how game devs are holy creatures that should not be questioned.
I have adapted. I've evolved to the point to where using a controller is no longer comfortable or enjoyable for me. I own multiple, including an Xbox One Elite controller, but I never use them anymore and I plan to sell them.
I have also adapted to the point where I am not willing to compromise what I view as a standard expectation for a game to have. If I cannot play a game with the main input devices for the PC platform, I will simply not play that game.
Thanks for the support, I have thick skin though and don't mind replying to his petty comments. It just brings more traffic and attention to my thread!
The mouse cursor always being present on the screen is not marginal. It means I have to consciously position the cursor off screen and make sure to never move my mouse while using it to attack and parry if I don't want the cursor to be on the screen distracting me.
Nioh, all dark souls, platformers, even freakin mortal kombat all this games i play on KB+M and its feal great for me.
No KB+M support = no buy.
♥♥♥♥♥♥ above can put controller in his ass and start to adapt to it.
Yeah, it is just unacceptable to release a game on PC without competent M/KB support in this day and age.
I also play Dark Souls and Sekiro with M/KB and it's miles better than using the controller like I used to.
There is no excuse and I'm on the verge of refunding, despite really looking forward to the game due to the art style and classic gameplay.
I have not seen the devs address this issue anywhere and there have been many other people bringing up the same issues. One thread had a lot of traffic on it.
If they aren't going to acknowledge the problem, then I will just refund. I'm way under 2 hours playtime and it's well within the 14 day refund window.
This is definitely a technical issue with the game and to remove those posts is a sign of bad faith. I didn't post in General Discussion until my first thread was deleted there, where it belongs.
This censorship makes me feel like they will consciously ignore people that bring up these issues and have no plans to solve them, even though it would be extremely simple.
Keyboard mouse elitists are simply the worst. Just refund the game and go away if you can't adapt.
Explain to me why it isn't a problem for a game released on PC to have poor M/KB support.
Mouse and Keyboard are the default input devices of the platform. Many people don't have controllers and either don't want one or don't have the money to buy one.
Others, like me, have controllers but choose not use them. We prefer M/KB.
Almost every other game on the platform, including similar games like Hollow Knight, have solid support for the mouse and keyboard.
I am only asking for very simple fixes, really the bare minimum expectations for a modern game developer on PC.
