How to exit the game?

Encountered a surprise problem. How the one supposed to exit the game? No button brings any kind of menu, and there are nothing in inventory screen. ESC key, or F10 dont work either.

Open up map with the M button, press K(?) for the game setting, then exit to main menu, then quit

Thank you! I alt-f4'd the other time, it seems a bit of an odd choice not to just have it on esc

kinda weird, the exit to main menu is on the map menu

M to get to the map

O to get to the options

and then go to the main menu

and then exit game




is it because of the title of the game?

Im 100% sure it is made like that because Dark Souls also had the exit option in strange place. I spent like mins playing piano on my keyboard trying to find any form of menu. ♥♥♥♥ me it was annoying..

Fun-fact: You don't have to run back to an altar after an excursion to save your progress. Your state is saved whenever you quit. If you reload the game, you will be back at the altar and can skip a lot of backtracking.

Strange. Mine does not work with either of those options everyone mentioned here. Anyone has another suggestion?
