Figured out how to obtain the True Ending

Hello, having done my own research on how the ending is to be obtained I have finally found it.

It's honestly not that complicated, but it does make you sacrifice a certain mechanic to do it (not the most important one but it still is something to note).

Remember those Prayer Statues that you have interacted with them?

Remember how you probably accidentally destroyed a Statue and had no clue what that circle meant?

Essentially near one of these statues, their is a white orb item you can obtain that absorbs the guilt your character has created and grows darker over time. When that Item is tainted COMPLETELY black, you must equip it to be able to utilize these circles. Clear whatever is within those circles and your thorn will end up growing (Likely absorbing all the guilt obtained within that dream).

Destroy and Clear EVERY LAST Prayer Statue available and kill the final boss and you should unlock the next ending.

Prayer Statues? That could mean anything. Could be the ones that cleanse your guilt, the ones that can make you stronger, or the checkpoints.

The ones that look like they are actually praying to you (The large statues that absolve guilt).

Thanks for this. Note that you have to have the bead equipped, then it gets a bit darker each time you die. You don't just equip it before you go to the portals. You only have to die about three times to completely blacken it so I just threw myself on some spikes with it equipped.

I went through the game, but did not understand how to get to those places where water does not allow jumping onto the platform.

You can get a relic that allows you to walk through mud and water. Involves guiding the pilgrim to his destination

I thought so, but I killed all the bosses and studied almost everything in the locations, and apart from the four relics, I did not find anything else. I’ve been everywhere, except for the places shown in the screenshot

Also, you can get to those places earlier than intended. Just tap slide and\or attack with jump and sometimes you will get a normal height jump in the water\mud.

Did you escort the pilgrim found in Jondo all the way to Mother of Mothers?
